stolen bike

My friend Nick just got his Surly 29er (Karate Monkey) stolen a couple days ago in SE Portland (28th/stark). Kind of a long shot, but I’m trying to help spread the word. It’s black, WTB wheels, Misfit Cycles hubs, Truvativ Stylo cranks and Avid disk brakes.
Please spread the word and keep on the look out for his bike if you live in Portland.
Thanks,
-Eli

I used http://www.stolenbicycleregistry.com/ a few years ago when my bike was stolen. It’s an added protection to keeping an eagle eye on local craigslist posts.
The humanity of people are lowing with every stolen bike and sadly to say, the biking community dies a little more. Anyone with a bike NEEDS to get themselves a kryptonite U-Lock. Make sure they are AUTHENTIC as my wife had her bike stolen from an “imitation” kryptonite lock. We now get ours from A&J’s Bike Locks or go to our local shop called Bicycle World to buy them. They have never steered us wrong. Happy Biking
